Operations Executive (Logistic Industry)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive – Operations Executive to oversee daily shipment bookings, customer confirmations, and courier coordination. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth dispatch operations, timely deliveries, accurate shipment tracking, and strong communication between customers and courier partners.

This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Shipment & Logistics Management

Book daily shipments through courier portals/software.

Generate shipping labels and manage tracking IDs.

Ensure timely dispatch of all confirmed orders.

Coordinate with internal team to ensure orders are ready for pickup.

Customer Coordination

Call customers for order confirmations.

Coordinate delivery timings and confirm accurate addresses.

Professionally handle delivery-related queries and issues.

Courier Coordination

Maintain daily communication with courier companies.

Follow up on in-transit, delayed, or problematic shipments.

Coordinate reattempts, address corrections, and issue resolution.

Ensure smooth daily pickup operations with courier partners.

Reporting & Reconciliation

Maintain daily shipment records and tracking sheets.

Reconcile shipment status with courier reports.

Track delivered, returned, pending, and cancelled shipments.

Identify discrepancies and resolve them promptly.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Supply Chain, or related field).

0–3 years of experience in operations/logistics (Ecommerce preferred).

Strong communication skills in Urdu and English.

Experience dealing with courier companies is a plus.

Proficient in MS Excel or Google Sheets.

Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet daily dispatch deadlines.
