Operations Lead (Amazon DSP)

We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented Operations Lead to manage our delivery team. You will be the heartbeat of our DSP, ensuring that 40+ drivers are supported, our fleet is road-ready, and every package reaches its destination safely and on time. This isn’t a "desk-only" job; you will be on the floor during load-out, in the yard managing the fleet, and at the screen monitoring real-time performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Dispatching: Lead the morning "Stand-Up" meetings, assign routes, and manage the load-out process to ensure the fleet departs the station on time.
• Fleet Management: Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs with vendors, and ensure all vans meet DOT and Amazon safety standards (DVIR compliance).
• Hiring & Onboarding: Manage the recruitment pipeline on Indeed, conduct interviews, and shepherd new hires through the Amazon background check and training process.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor the DSP Scorecard (Quality, Safety, and Delivery metrics). Use data to coach drivers and improve our "Fantastic Plus" rating.
• On-Road Support: Real-time problem solving for drivers (navigation, customer issues, or mechanical breakdowns) and coordinating "rescues" when necessary.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in logistics, warehouse management, or retail leadership (Required). Previous Amazon DSP experience or experience as a DSP delivery driver is a major plus.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency with GroundCloud, Amazon Cortex, and fleet telematics.
• Leadership: Ability to motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Availability: Must be willing to work weekends and be "on-call" during operating hours.
• Clean Record: Must pass a 4-panel drug test and a standard background check.

Pay: $55,000.00 per year
