What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Supervise all activities of drivers and dockworkers for a smooth process of pick-up and delivery of freight at customer locations
• Ensure that all work assignments are completed properly
• Respond to Customer Service and Operations inquiries regarding deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• Monitor all service levels on a daily basis to ensure all time commitments are maintained
• Enforce all company, FMCSR, OSHA and DOT policies, rules, regulations, and laws
• Coach, train and develop employees in a manner consistent with company policies
• Act as a champion of our company values, demonstrating them and holding your team to the same high standards

What you need to succeed at Mobile Air Transport:

• 2 or more years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation, or similar environment
• Knowledge of DOT, FMCSR, TSA, OSHA, and HAZMAT regulations
• Knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry
• Solid focus on Customer Service
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Solid geographic knowledge of service areas
• 2 years in a leadership role

It’d be great if you also have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Distribution or Logistics
• LTL industry experience
• Positive attitude with the ability to multitask and motivate your team
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and administrative skills

This job requires the ability to:

• Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 lbs. frequently, and on occasion up to 75 lbs.
• Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time in an office and a loading dock
