<About the Role

GH Logistics operates a growing asset-based fleet, running time-sensitive freight across multiple lanes. Overnight execution is critical — and this role exists to ensure our trucks, drivers, and routes stay on track when leadership teams are offline.

You will monitor live asset loads, identify risk, and communicate issues impacting on-time pickup, delivery, safety, and compliance.

This role sits at the intersection of visibility, communication, and operational awareness for company-owned assets.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Shift: 4:00AM-2:00PM.

Core responsibilities include:

• Monitoring all active asset-based loads overnight
• Tracking driver progress, ETAs, and route adherence
• Identifying risks to on-time pickup or delivery
• Monitoring check-ins, status updates, and exceptions
• Communicating issues clearly to operations, dispatch, or leadership as required
• Escalating time-sensitive problems using defined protocols
• Updating internal systems, trackers, and notes accurately
• Supporting clean handoffs to day-shift asset operations teams

This role is essential to protecting driver utilization, equipment efficiency, and service reliability.

Role Scope & Capability Expectations

This position allows for different capability levels, and compensation is aligned accordingly.

• Some candidates will focus primarily on monitoring, reporting, and escalation
• More experienced candidates may also assist with operational problem-solving, such as:
• supporting driver issues or route disruptions
• assisting with asset recoveries or repowers
• coordinating with dispatch during overnight exceptions
• helping stabilize asset-related issues before morning shift

Final scope and compensation will be determined based on demonstrated skill set, judgment, and experience.

Qualifications

Required:

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to monitor timelines, routes, and status updates accurately
• Experience working with schedules, tracking tools, or operational data
• High sense of responsibility and urgency

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in asset operations, dispatch, fleet support, or transportation
• Familiarity with driver communication or load tracking systems
• Experience handling time-sensitive operational exceptions

Compensation & Structure

• Base Salary: $45,000–$55,000 annually
• Compensation is based on experience and demonstrated capability
• Candidates able to assist with asset recoveries and issue resolution will be considered at the higher end of the range
