Operations & Maintenance Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced O&M Project Manager to oversee the operation and maintenance of utility facilities, including power, water, wastewater, and district cooling systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all O&M project activities, ensuring asset performance, optimizing operational efficiency, and leading multidisciplinary technical teams to achieve contractual and performance targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of utility plants and networks.
• Develop and implement O&M strategies , maintenance schedules, and performance improvement programs.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations , operational procedures, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets, cost control, and resource allocation.
• Oversee the preparation of operational KPIs, performance reports, and root cause analyses.
• Supervise and support mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal departments to ensure service excellence.
• Plan and execute shutdowns, upgrades, and reliability improvement projects.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and ensure quick resolution of operational issues.
• Support contract management, procurement of spare parts, and vendor coordination.
• Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous improvement within the O&M teams.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, or Electrical).
• Minimum 12 years of experience , including at least 5 years in Operations & Maintenance management roles within utilities, power, or water sectors.
• Proven experience managing O&M contracts or utility plants (e.g., power generation, electricity distribution, water/wastewater treatment, ).
• Strong technical knowledge of plant operations, maintenance planning, and reliability engineering.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
