Operations Manager

Kuala, India

Key Responsibilities

1. Import & Export Management

  • Handle import/export documentation, including Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, IEC compliance, and DGFT/Customs requirements.
  • Coordinate with CHA (Customs House Agents), freight forwarders, and port authorities for clearance.
  • Ensure compliance with GST on imports, export incentives, and RBI guidelines for international trade.
  • Monitor lead times and ensure timely dispatch/delivery of shipments.

2. Procurement & Supplier Management

  • Develop procurement strategies in line with Indian market requirements.
  • Identify and qualify local and international suppliers for raw materials, components, and consumables.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to optimize costs.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with GST invoicing, e-way bills, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and service.

3. Supply Chain Management

  • Plan, execute, and monitor end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and logistics to balance supply with demand.
  • Manage distribution networks for timely deliveries across regions.
  • Implement demand forecasting and optimize replenishment cycles.
  • Identify supply chain risks and establish contingency plans.

4. Inventory Management (Production, Rental & Finished Goods)

  • Monitor and control stock levels of raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and rental equipment.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through ERP systems and periodic physical verification.
  • Align stock management with production schedules and rental requirements.
  • Minimize stock obsolescence, pilferage, and discrepancies.
  • Maintain audit-ready inventory records for compliance purposes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
