QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Netlog Logistics Group, consists of 18 leading companies and brands in the field of logistics in local, regional and global markets by offering their services. The Group continuous to grow rapidly and in a leading position of its sector. We are seeking Operations Manager in the logistics center of Kocaeli / Gebze.

The Operations Manager reports directly to the Coordinator of Region and must be a high-energy leader with the ability to direct a workforce in the fulfillment of orders for global key account. This includes managing inbound inventory, maintaining inventory, supervising pick/ pack operations and outbound shipments. This position also requires having a strong understanding of labor-management and forecasting.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and directing fulfillment operations group in the achievement of key goals in the area of order processing and delivery, quality assurance management, inventory management, purchasing management, cost management, process layouts, process improvements, employee training and development,
  • Working with the Operations Coordinator to influence corporate strategic plans,
  • Working with functional leaders within the company to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures,
  • Ensuring that the facility is compliance with ordinances, laws, and regulations,
  • Ensuring the safety is the strongest part of our culture and environment within the facility at all times,
  • Obtaining daily, monthly and annually goals for various productivity and quality levels,
  • Leading the fulfillment group to operate in a cost-effective and competitive manner while driving improvement continuously,
  • Managing, training and developing the facility managers and supervisors in the subjects of hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates, addressing complaints, and resolving problems or removing obstacles,
  • Managing logistics operations and making sustainable development plans,
  • Preparing daily, weekly and monthly logistics business follow-up reports,
  • Preparing performance reports and ensuring team development and motivation accordingly,
  • Planning needs such as human resources, equipment, and space based on efficiency,
  • Actively working to reduce error rates, operation times and costs, consequently planning according to analysis,
  • Actively managing operational planning,
  • Guiding the processes and maintaining the operational quality standards, while simultaneously setting goals for improvement and managing projects.


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of experience in people management,
  • Must be a self-directed person with the ability to handle multiple tasks,
  • Must have industry working knowledge of all areas in fulfillment: warehousing distribution, inbound/outbound, quality, B2C, B2B, WMS,
  • Bachelor’s degree is required,
  • Excellent English skills.
