Al Rayyan for Design & Decoration is a leading interior design and finishing company specializing in luxury residential villas. We provide end-to-end services from concept design to full project execution — including civil, finishing, furniture, lighting, and décor works.
Job Purpose
The Operations Manager oversees the company’s ongoing projects, ensuring smooth coordination between design, engineering, procurement, and site teams. The role ensures that every project is executed according to approved designs, within budget, and on schedule — while maintaining the company’s standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project & Site Operations
- Supervise all ongoing project activities from mobilization to handover.
- Coordinate with the site engineer, foreman, logistics, and design team to ensure timely execution.
- Review daily site reports and resolve operational issues quickly.
- Ensure implementation according to approved BOQ, drawings, and material submittals.
- Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance.
2. Planning & Scheduling
- Prepare and monitor detailed project schedules and milestones.
- Identify delays and propose recovery plans.
- Coordinate with the logistics manager to ensure timely delivery of materials.
3. Team & Resource Management
- Lead the operations team (site engineer, foreman, logistics, etc.) and ensure accountability.
- Assign manpower and resources as per project needs.
- Conduct regular coordination meetings with the design and admin teams.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure work complies with approved designs, materials, and quality standards.
- Enforce safety regulations and site cleanliness.
- Review and approve quality checklists and snag reports.
5. Financial & Administrative
- Review project budgets and cost control reports.
- Validate site purchase requests and material orders.
- Support management in preparing client progress invoices and variation orders.
6. Client & Design Coordination
- Act as the operational link between clients, the design department, and the site team.
- Attend client meetings and provide progress updates.
- Ensure all client requirements are properly communicated and executed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in interior design, fit-out, or finishing works.
- Proven experience managing multiple residential or villa projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in English and Arabic (preferred).
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
