Role Overview
Nexilis is seeking a proactive and detail-driven Operations Manager to oversee the coordination between engineering, manufacturing, procurement, logistics, and sales. This role is critical to ensure timely, high-quality, and efficient execution across all functional teams.
The Operations Manager will act as the execution backbone of the company — driving structure, accountability, and efficiency as Nexilis scales its AI solutions and edge vision products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Execution & Coordination
- Create and track detailed project timelines for R&D, production, and delivery.
- Liaise between engineering, manufacturing, and business teams to ensure smooth information flow.
- Maintain delivery schedules, track dependencies, and flag risks early.
- Lead weekly project review meetings with action follow-ups.
2. Process & Efficiency Management
- Document and standardize operational workflows (assembly, QA, testing, logistics).
- Implement metrics and dashboards to measure team productivity.
- Drive process automation where possible (inventory, scheduling, reporting).
3. Vendor & Supply Chain Coordination
- Manage vendor relationships for components, fabrication, and assembly.
- Track purchase orders, incoming inventory, and component forecasts.
- Ensure timely procurement and optimize cost efficiency.
4. Customer Delivery & Quality
- Coordinate product readiness and delivery milestones for customer pilots.
- Track customer feedback and work with QA to drive continuous improvement.
- Support installation and testing coordination with technical teams.
KPIs
- On-time project completion (% adherence to timeline).
- Operational efficiency improvements (process time reduction, cost savings).
- Vendor performance metrics (quality, lead time adherence).
- Delivery quality score (customer satisfaction post-deployment).
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Operations Management (MBA preferred).
- 6–10 years of experience in tech hardware / electronics / IoT / product manufacturing.
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Familiar with tools: Asana / Monday.com / Google Sheets / ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability.
Compensation
- ₹10–15 LPA base salary.
- Performance bonus linked to delivery efficiency & on-time completion.
