Job Title: Operation Manager – Diagnostic Center

Location: Tambaram,Tondiarpet & Virudhachalam

preferably: Medical Field ,Diagnostic center
Department: Operations / Administration
Reports To: Regional Manager / Director of Operations

Job Summary:

The Center Manager is responsible for the overall management and efficient operation of the diagnostic center. This includes overseeing daily operations, staff management, patient experience, financial performance, compliance, and coordination with medical and technical teams to ensure smooth and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:Operational Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the diagnostic center, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and support staff to maintain optimal scheduling and minimize patient waiting time.
  • Monitor and ensure proper functioning of diagnostic equipment, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with NABL/NABH standards and local regulatory requirements.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of medical and non-medical supplies.

People Management

  • Supervise and guide the center’s staff, including front-office executives, technicians, and housekeeping personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and ensure training for team development.
  • Foster a positive work culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and patient satisfaction.

Customer Service & Patient Experience

  • Ensure that patients receive courteous, timely, and accurate service.
  • Handle escalations and resolve customer grievances promptly.
  • Monitor feedback and implement service improvement initiatives.

Financial & Business Management

  • Manage center budgets, control expenses, and optimize resource utilization.
  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Prepare financial and operational reports for senior management.
  • Implement marketing and outreach activities to increase footfall and doctor referrals.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards in sample collection, testing, and reporting.
  • Conduct regular audits and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Coordinate preventive maintenance and calibration of diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Graduate or Postgraduate in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: experience in healthcare operations, preferably in a diagnostic center, pathology lab, or hospital.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, NABL/NABH standards, and diagnostic operations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare management software.
  • Ability to handle multitasking and work under pressure.

Work Schedule:

Full-time; must be available for operational emergencies and weekend shifts as needed

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
