Job Purpose:
The Operations Manager will oversee and manage the entire end-to-end operational process for Air, Sea, and Land shipments. This role ensures timely execution of shipments, accuracy of documentation, coordination with vendors and carriers, and maintaining operational efficiency while meeting customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations for Air Freight, Sea Freight (Export/Import), and Land Transportation.
- Ensure smooth coordination between operations, documentation, customer service, and sales teams.
- Oversee preparation, verification, and accuracy of all shipping and customs documentation.
- Monitor shipment status, resolve delays, and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local freight regulations.
- Supervise and guide the operations team, ensuring high performance and adherence to timelines.
- Maintain strong communication with clients regarding shipment updates, issues, and solutions.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational reports for management review.
- Work closely with the Sales team to support customer requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Shipping, International Business, or related field.
- 4-8 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations (Air/Sea/Land) and customs clearance procedures.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle pressure and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software/tools.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
