Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily business functions across our retail locations. This pivotal role involves overseeing store operations, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service while driving sales and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily store activities, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service to ensure smooth operations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members through effective training, coaching, and performance management to cultivate a high-performing workforce.
- Oversee employee orientation, interviewing, onboarding processes, and scheduling to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Manage payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Control inventory levels through inventory management techniques such as stock rotation, ordering purchasing supplies, and conducting regular stock audits.
- Implement retail math principles for pricing strategies, sales analysis, budgeting, and sales management to meet financial goals.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and merchandising efforts to enhance store visibility and customer engagement.
- Maintain excellent communication with staff and customers by demonstrating phone etiquette, customer service excellence, and organizational skills.
Skills
- Strong leadership with supervisory experience in retail or similar environments.
- Proficient in negotiation, purchasing, inventory control, and retail math concepts.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued.
- Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, employee training & development, and team management.
- Experienced in managing payroll processes, bookkeeping tasks, cash handling procedures, and POS systems.
- Knowledgeable about retail sales techniques including pricing strategies, merchandising, stocking procedures, and store management.
- Capable of managing shift schedules effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Demonstrated ability in budgeting, marketing initiatives, inventory management systems (including wireless sales), and store operations oversight.
