For over 40 Years, Lawrence & Frederick has been a leading supplier of aluminum substrates. We currently have an opportunity for an experienced manufacturing operations manager that will lead our company forward. This hands-on leadership role assume responsibility for the production process from materials to customer delivery.

Responsibilities
Production Scheduling, Inventory and Quality Control
- Produce, direct, plan and coordinate daily, weekly and WIP production schedules based on customer or stock requirements.
- Create, amend production models within schedules.
- Allocate and reserve inventory against schedules. Requisitions company purchases.
- Conduct production meetings.
- May supervise off-site production.
- Interacts with customers on quality issues as needed.
Supervisor Leadership & Workforce Management:
- Oversees all shop and office employees. Works with shop supervisor and higher-level management to ensure production demands and issues are known and resolved.
- Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, labor relations, and HR initiatives.
- Functioning Member of Safety Committee; ensures safety protocols are followed. Conduct safety audits.
Financial and Business Metrics:
- Updates and maintains financial records, spreadsheets including on-time delivery, scrap, labor costs, and other functional records.
- Manage business to ensure profitability targets and quality standards are met.
- Provide monthly operational performance and participate in monthly management meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management, manufacturing, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 5–7 years of production scheduling, management, and direct supervisory experience in manufacturing operations within an industrial setting.
- Experience working with OS400/AS 400 ERP system and production data reporting; (PRISM) preferred
- Manufacturing metals background preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Collaborative, leadership, conflict management, and exceptional communication skills
- Able to learn and embrace current business practices and work within current structure.
Principals Only. Not open to sponsorship or relocation. Pay will be based on industry related experience and skill sets that are applicable to the position. Full benefit package available.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
