A well-established and rapidly growing Columbus, Ohio & Surrounding area Heating and Air Conditioning Company is seeking an experienced senior operations leader to oversee day-to-day business performance and support continued expansion. This is an Independently owned and operated Family Business.

This confidential opportunity is ideal for a proven leader with STRONG operational, financial, and people-management experience in the skilled trades industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across service, installation, sales, and administration
• Lead, mentor, and hold managers and employees accountable to performance goals
• Drive profitability through budgeting, cost control, and KPI tracking
• Improve systems, processes, and operational efficiencies
• Support growth initiatives including hiring, training, and market expansion
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, licensing, and industry regulations
• Act as a key strategic partner to ownership

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience in construction, or skilled trades
• Strong understanding of P&L management and operational metrics
• Proven ability to lead teams, resolve conflict, and build accountability
• Experience scaling operations in a growing company preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
• Driven to set the example to the team/company that you will do what it takes to succeed
• Positive and Optimistic attitude to keep team motivated instilling and maintaining a great culture and work environment
