Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to join our team in Los Angeles.

This is a LEADERSHIP position for the California Operation that will involve regular communication with the Florida site as well as any future acquisition/location.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in operations in a regulated manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of supply chain management, purchasing, inventory control, vendor relationships, warehouse operations, logistics, and distribution channels
• Experience managing domestic and international supplier relationships
• Proven ability to lead operational initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Excel
• With over 20 vetted suppliers in 4 different Asian countries - the ability and willingness to travel internationally is a fundamental requirement of this position.

Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will ensure the processes, tools, and infrastructure are in place to drive profitable growth while overseeing all fundamental operational aspects of the company.

This includes all incoming materials and all outgoing finished products.

Overseeing purchasing, inventory levels, vendor relationships, supply chain management, and distribution channels.

This position has a key working relationship with the IMPAK Leadership Team (ILT) and all functional areas of the company.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead meetings of the IMPAK Leadership Team.

This role is accountable for purchasing, inventory management, warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics, vendor management, operational planning, process improvement initiatives, and distribution activities.

Publish regular KPI dashboards to track operational performance, including inventory levels, supplier performance, warehouse efficiency, operational costs, service levels, quality metrics, and on-time delivery performance.

Build a scorecard framework covering our shipment performance, schedule adherence, cost improvement opportunities, quality performance, supplier performance, inventory accuracy, and operational personnel performance.

Manage domestic and international supplier relationships and participate in strategic sourcing initiatives.

IMPAK maintains domestic suppliers and critical supplier relationships in Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and China. These relationships are fundamental to the company's supply chain operations and continued growth. IMPAK is actively pursuing the development of an additional supplier relationships in two additional Asian countries.

Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Program Management, Operations, Customer Service, and Finance to ensure seamless execution of the operational process.

Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement, cost reduction, operational efficiency, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Support operational planning, resource allocation, inventory management, purchasing activities, and supply chain initiatives to ensure profitable growth and operational excellence.

Salary
$155,000 per year
