Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and manage the full operational cycle of our car auction business. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations, high service quality, and strong team performance while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all car auction operations from vehicle intake to final sale.
- Implement and improve operational policies, workflows, and procedures.
- Monitor daily performance, identify gaps, and execute corrective actions.
- Coordinate vehicle inspection, valuation, documentation, and listing.
- Lead and develop the operations team; conduct evaluations and training.
- Ensure excellent customer service for both buyers and sellers.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inventory and optimize stock turnover.
- Ensure compliance with legal, industry, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate logistics for timely vehicle movement to and from auction sites.
- Prepare KPI reports and analyze data for operational improvements.
- Support business growth initiatives and assist marketing when needed.
- Manage operational budgets in coordination with the finance team.
Requirements
- Experience in Operations, preferably in Auctions, Transport, Shipping, or Inventory.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
