Operations Manager - Construction

Overview

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role takes overall responsibility for multiple large complex building projects running concurrently. You will oversee and support a team of Project Directors/Leaders & Senior PMs and a variety of other disciplines, ensuring all projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction, while maintaining tight control of programme and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee multiple high value complex Build projects from within the Luxury Residential, Entertainment, Mixed Use sectors.
  • Manage and mentor a large team of experienced professionals, ensuring strong leadership and clear direction across all sites.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the company's excellent HSE/Quality standards.
  • Maintain close coordination with design, procurement/commercial and delivery teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Provide strategic oversight and regular reporting to the General Manager.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
  • Drive excellence in health, safety, and compliance across all projects.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a Senior Leadership role within a Main Contracting environment.
  • Min 20 years overall experience delivering complex Large Building projects with ideally 5 years spent in the Middle East.
  • Strong track record of delivering multiple projects simultaneously to world-class standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Commercially astute, with strong financial and contractual awareness.
  • Exceptional communication and client-facing skills.
