Position Title: Operations Manager

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end operational processes related to FMCG and Electronics divisions. The role ensures smooth supply chain operations, efficient inventory management, timely order fulfillment, vendor coordination, and adherence to quality and compliance standards. The position plays a key role in improving productivity, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Supply Chain & Logistics Management

  • Oversee procurement, inbound logistics, warehousing, and distribution for FMCG and Electronics categories.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, prevent stock-outs/overstocking, and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies for timely deliveries.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, picking processes, and overall logistics operations.

B. Operations Planning & Execution

  • Develop daily/weekly/monthly operational plans to meet business targets.
  • Lead demand planning and forecasting in coordination with Sales and Procurement teams.
  • Manage product flow, replenishment cycle, and stock turnaround.
  • Ensure smooth launch execution for new products and promotions.

C. Vendor & Supplier Coordination

  • Maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.
  • Monitor vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and ensure SLA adherence.
  • Resolve supply issues, discrepancies, or delivery delays.

D. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as OTD (On-Time Delivery), inventory days, shrinkage, wastage, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare operational dashboards and monthly performance reports.
  • Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

E. Quality, Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company SOPs.
  • Oversee product quality checks for FMCG and Electronics.
  • Implement safety procedures for handling electronic goods and FMCG storage standards.

F. Team Leadership & Development

  • Supervise warehouse staff, logistics coordinators, delivery teams, and operations executives.
  • Provide training, set performance objectives, and conduct evaluations.
  • Promote a positive, efficient, and safety-conscious working environment.

G. Cost & Process Optimization

  • Drive cost-reduction initiatives across logistics, warehousing, and sourcing.
  • Implement automation, digital tools, and system improvements (ERP/WMS).
  • Review and improve SOPs for higher efficiency.

3. Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in operations management, ideally within FMCG or Electronics.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse management, and local market dynamics.
  • Experience in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle/Odoo) is preferred.
