Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete order lifecycle—from purchase order processing to shipment and
delivery.
- Manage and supervise documentation, logistics, inventory control, dispatch, and coordination with buyers and suppliers.
- Ensure timely execution of shipments in compliance with export/import regulations and
client specifications.
- Monitor and enhance operational processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing
improvements to optimize workflow.
- Coordinate with finance, sales, warehouse, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth
operations across departments.
- Ensure timely submission and tracking of shipping documents, customs clearances, and
EDPMS/IDPMS compliance.
- Build and maintain relationships with logistics partners, customs agents, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless communication.
- Lead and mentor the operations team, providing direction, training, and performance
management support.
- Track KPIs, operational performance, and cost-efficiency metrics, reporting regularly to
senior management.
- Handle escalations and provide strategic resolutions to client or operational issues.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Administration, International Trade, Logistics, or related field.
- 5–6 years of proven experience in operations management, preferably in an export-import, trading, or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of international trade practices, documentation, customs regulations, shipping procedures, and supply chain dynamics.
- Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office, particularly Excel and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in managing teams and driving performance-based outcomes.
