We are looking for a results-oriented Operations / Production Manager to lead daily operations and production activities within our sign company. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and confident managing both people and processes.
Experience in the sign industry is strongly preferred. Applicants with hands-on fabrication or production backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects move efficiently from sales through installation while maintaining quality, safety, and profitability.
Direct and manage daily production operations
Establish and maintain production schedules, deadlines, and job priorities
Serve as the link between sales, estimating, production, and installation teams
Lead shop personnel and installation crews while upholding safety and quality standards
Track project progress, labor productivity, and material consumption
Identify workflow challenges and implement effective solutions
Oversee inventory levels, equipment upkeep, and vendor relationships
Support recruitment, onboarding, and employee development efforts
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget parameters
Demonstrated background in operations, production, or project management
Strong leadership and team supervision abilities
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Clear and professional verbal and written communication
Background in the sign industry
Knowledge of sign manufacturing, materials, and installation processes
Experience with production planning and scheduling systems
Previous oversight of shop operations and field teams
