Operations Manager – Road Freight (Intermodal Experience Required)

We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager - Road Freight (Intermodal Experience Required) to join our growing logistics organization and lead our road freight operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee full truckload (FTL) and less-than-truckload (LTL) road transport operations
• Plan, coordinate, and optimize intermodal transportation processes
• Lead, develop, and motivate the operations team , ensuring high performance and efficiency
• Monitor daily operations to ensure on-time, cost-effective, and compliant deliveries
• Coordinate with carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders
• Analyze operational KPIs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, legal regulations, and safety standards

Requirements

• 7–8 years of experience in the logistics sector, preferably in road freight operations
• Strong knowledge of intermodal transportation (must-have)
• Proven hands-on experience in FTL and LTL road transport (must-have)
• Demonstrated team management and leadership experience
• Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational environment
• Good command of English (written and spoken)
