Our Group is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager (Specialty Coffee) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position for a professional who will be instrumental in driving the success of our specialty coffee division. Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all day to day operations of the specialty coffee business, including retail outlets and potential roastery functions.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational policies and procedures to optimise workflow and ensure consistency across all locations.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of baristas and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and professional development.
  • Manage the entire supply chain, from green bean sourcing and procurement to inventory control of all consumables and equipment.
  • Ensure stringent quality control at every stage, from bean to cup, to maintain our reputation for superior coffee.
  • Take responsibility for the financial performance of the coffee division, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and cost control.
  • Guarantee compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Analyse performance metrics and sales data to identify areas for improvement and drive business growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an operations management role, specifically within the specialty coffee industry.
  • In depth knowledge of the coffee value chain, including sourcing, roasting, brewing standards, and equipment maintenance.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent financial acumen with demonstrable experience in budgeting and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organisational, problem solving, and decision making abilities.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English required.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Professional certifications from bodies such as the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) would be a significant advantage.
