Job Responsibilities
1. Sales–Procurement Alignment

Consolidate
sales forecasts
from regional teams and translate them into
purchase plans
for optimal stock levels.

Ensure procurement volumes match
market demand patterns
to avoid overstock and lost sales.

Maintain real-time communication between sales teams and procurement to adapt quickly to demand fluctuations.
2. Strategic Freight Sourcing Negotiations

Identify and develop a
global supplier base
that offers competitive pricing, consistent quality, and flexible supply terms.

Negotiate contracts, freight terms, and lead times to support
sales seasonality and promotional activities
.

Introduce
multi-supplier sourcing strategies
to reduce dependency risks.
3. Inventory & Demand Planning

Implement advanced
inventory forecasting tools
to balance stock availability with cash flow efficiency.

Reduce slow-moving inventory through
sales–procurement coordination
on clearance and repositioning plans.

Maintain an optimal
inventory turnover ratio
without compromising customer service levels.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership

Lead cross-department planning sessions between
Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance
