Operations Officer

CMA CGM, Saudi Arabia, is staffed with knowledgeable and motivated industry professionals who work closely with its customers to provide them with the best possible service and high-quality transport of their cargo. As a result of expanding our organization, we are currently looking for a Operations Officer to join our fast-growing and challenging organization.

Position: Operations Officer

Location: Jeddah

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate vessel port calls with port authorities, agents, and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory formalities, declarations, and regulatory requirements through system follow-ups.
• Manage and process all documentation related to vessel arrival and departure (customs, immigration, quarantine) via digital platforms such as Fasah.
• Liaise with stevedore planning teams to monitor cargo operations and ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare and submit special cargo documentation (Dangerous Goods, Reefer, OOG, etc.) in coordination with operations teams.
• Coordinate with ship chandlers and service providers to arrange delivery of supplies to vessels.
• Handle crew-related documentation including sign-on/sign-off, medical cases, and immigration requirements.
• Process approvals for ship spares, equipment, and other onboard requirements through customs systems.
• Monitor reefer container reports and coordinate with technical teams for maintenance requirements.
• Ensure completion and collection of operational certificates and documentation from relevant stakeholders.
• Manage all required uploads and approvals through Fasah and coordinate with port authorities for port clearance.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational reports to the Operations Manager.

Requirements:

• University degree in Supply Chain Management or any relevant field.
• 3-5 Years experience / relevant experience in the Shipping line industry.
• Fluent English.
• Attention to details, highly organized and committed.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Multi-tasker who works well in fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good computer, software, and IT applications skills.
