Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Operations Officer (CISI | SCA Accredited) to oversee and manage the company’s operational functions in compliance with UAE laws and the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) requirements. The role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and in-depth knowledge of financial services regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must Have experience in a FOREX broker in the UAE. Experience of at least 3 years in the forex industry is a must.
• CISI qualification, possess experience in financial services operations, and demonstrate knowledge of financial regulations and risk management, including specific expertise in managing AI and cybersecurity risks.
• Additionally, you'll be responsible for ensuring the company's technical systems are updated, compliant with SCA requirements for data protection, and aligned with the SCA Rulebook for financial activities and virtual assets.
• SCA Accreditation: Mandatory for the position, ensuring you meet the authority's standards for licensed professionals.
• Experience: A minimum of one year of operations management experience in the financial or capital markets sector is generally required.
• Financial Regulation & Risk Management: Strong knowledge of UAE financial laws, risk management principles, and compliance standards is crucial.
• AI & Cybersecurity Expertise: You will need to manage technical systems, ensure continuous updates, and demonstrate a mechanism for confronting and managing cyber risks.
• SCA Rulebook Compliance: A thorough understanding of the SCA's rules, particularly those relating to technology and virtual assets, is necessary to ensure compliance.
• Technical Systems: You must demonstrate the company's ability to provide necessary technological and electronic programs and evidence of continuous updates, including cybersecurity systems.
• Risk Management Frameworks: The role involves creating and implementing mechanisms for confronting, dealing with, and managing cyber risks, protecting data, and supervising software development.
• Reporting: You will also be responsible for procedures to immediately report any cybersecurity breaches to the SCA and relevant authorities.
• MT5 administration & manager experience is a PLUS. Handle all operation procedures of Meta Trader 5. Responsible for FX products across the spot markets. Responsible for commodity and indices products across the CFDs markets.
• Monitoring competitors’ trading terms, policies, and pricing quality and reconciling clients’ deposits and withdrawals. Maintain deal record and P&L daily. Trade reconciliation. Settlement investigation and research.
• Regulatory Reporting, Identify and communicate urgent issues that may have associated P/L and franchise risk.
• Investigate and resolve client issues related to trade execution, confirmation, and STP &Resolve technical issues in conjunction with application support, and development teams &Provide clients with training and guidance on system functionality and workflow. Mastering the company’s products and services in an effective manner.
• Regularly Report to the Management Maintaining and updating our CRM &Log all inquiries and track every ticket through to resolution in CRM. Perform specific pre-approved tasks according to the preset Operations Procedure
• Assisting the daily operations of the company and the work of executives (marketing, sales, IT, etc.). Operational Risk oversight and management Keep up to date with interest rate movements
• Comply with internal and external regulatory requirements.
• Gathering Information About Customer Complaints
• Developing solutions, negotiating with customers to renew contracts and retain business & building positive relationships with customers and business associates
• Maintaining Relationships with New & Existing Clients & Ensuring Customer Satisfaction Through Professional Communication & Assisting Clients with Queries. Handle the tasks assigned by the trading desk & other departments.
• Maximize profit and minimize risk within acceptability through market-making positioning and trading within approved limits and policies and procedures. Execute strategic planning and execution of systems implementations.
• Achieving Key Performance Indicators Excellent Communication Skills—Verbal and Written, Communicating with Customers & Sales Representatives & Analysing Customer Behaviour Writing and presenting customer behavior reports & establishing technical and operational standards and ensuring adherence to them for product development and company operations.
• Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring necessary aspects of operational management. Ability to work as a part of a team Develop & implement strategy for operational management and development to meet agreed organizational performance plans within agreed budgets and timescales.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• CISI Certification  and  SCA Accreditation  are mandatory.
• Minimum of  1 year of experience  in operations management within financial services, investment, or capital markets.
• Strong knowledge of  UAE financial regulations , risk management, and compliance standards.
• Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
