OPERATIONS OFFICER - WASTE MANAGEMENT

About the Role


The Operations Officer is responsible for assisting the Operations Manager with directing, developing, managing, and motivating colleagues involved in back office operations and ensuring the operational integrity of assigned functions and adherence to Bank policies and procedures.

Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers and providing exemplary customer service


Responsibilities


  • Implement and monitor company procedures for the collection, transport, and disposal of waste, in compliance with all regulations and legal requirements.
  • Ensure company policies align with and advance business objectives.
  • Manage employees and subordinates, working in a team or individually, to maximize their performance and contribution.
  • Oversee the selection, training, performance, and motivation of staff.
  • Monitor operational costs to maintain or increase profit margins.
  • Responsible for developing department policies for achieving department goals, evaluating the progress toward the goal include both team and individual progress and performance reviews.
  • Focal point for all the communication internal and external.
  • Undertake other associated tasks, allotment by line manager from time to time.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute is a must.
  • Master’s degree from a recognized institute is desirable.


Required Skills


  • 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Good communication Skills in English and Hindi, and knowledge in other languages will be an advantage.
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
  • Result Orientation and Customer Satisfaction.
  • Planning, organizing and coordination skills.
  • Must have good computer skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
