Role Overview

The Offshore Operations Manager is responsible for leading and managing FlowTra’s day-to-day operations in India. This includes supervising the offshore team (dispatchers, hiring executives, admin, sales, and accounts), ensuring smooth coordination with the Australian operations team, maintaining performance standards, and implementing efficient systems, KPIs, and training.

This role requires strong leadership, operational oversight, communication with senior management in Australia, and hands-on problem solving.

Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & Management

  • Supervise the daily work of all offshore staff (hiring, dispatch, admin, and sales teams).
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, set goals, and review KPIs for each department.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train new offshore employees in collaboration with HR and Australia-based management.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and performance-driven culture.

2. Operations Oversight

  • Ensure consistent delivery of services to the Australian team – including driver onboarding, dispatch coverage, sales follow-ups, and lead management.
  • Monitor workload balance, roster scheduling, and staff attendance.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements.

3. Communication & Coordination

  • Act as the key liaison between the Australian management and Indian offshore team.
  • Provide daily/weekly performance reports to Head of Operations in Australia.
  • Coordinate with Australian managers on driver performance, hiring needs, and client requirements.
  • Ensure clear documentation and handover processes for all ongoing tasks.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report key operational metrics: hires per week, dispatch efficiency, lead conversions, and productivity.
  • Prepare monthly performance summaries with recommendations for improvement.
  • Oversee employee KPIs, appraisals, and incentive tracking.

5. Compliance & Admin

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, confidentiality, and data integrity.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, attendance logs, and leave management.
  • Support finance with payroll and expense reporting.

Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, or related field.
  • 4–6 years’ experience in operations, team management, or BPO management (transport/logistics industry preferred).
  • Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to manage a cross-functional team and work across time zones.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and CRM tools.
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure, and solution-oriented.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing remote or international operations.
  • Prior experience in logistics, dispatching, or rental operations.
  • Understanding of Australian work culture and compliance requirements.

KPIs & Success Metrics

  • Team productivity and attendance > 95%
  • Monthly driver hiring target met (as set by Australian team)
  • Dispatch coverage maintained 100% daily
  • Lead-to-hire conversion rates above 30%
  • Zero major communication or task delivery lapses
  • High employee retention and engagement within the team

Working Hours: Australian business hours 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
