The Position
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Supervisor will be responsible for a team of direct labor employees focused on safety, quality, and throughput of various work cells within the repairs department. The Operations Supervisor also serves as a facilitator for spreading and reinforcing company culture within the team.

Key Accountabilities
- Will oversee a subset of work cells in support of Extant Aerospace’s repairs department.
- Support high mix, low volume electronics repair and testing.
- Lead team through successful development and execution of monthly plan to meet, and exceed schedule, revenue, and cost requirements.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Responsible for establishing optimum utilization of available resources through efficient manpower management.
- Utilize data to identify opportunities for improvement in processes.
- Establish and implement clear communication lines and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support the development of new methods, processes, and equipment to drive productivity initiatives.
Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree, plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing and leading people; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Strong analytical skills required e.g., demonstrated ability to take data from varying sources, analyze, interpret, and use it to make business decisions.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with and motivate a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
