Job Overview
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the operational readiness, cleanliness, maintenance coordination, and overall guest experience of multiple serviced apartments operating under a short-term rental model. This is a field-based role requiring movement between nearby properties to maintain hotel-level standards.
The supervisor holds on-ground accountability for apartment inspections, housekeeping supervision, maintenance execution, inventory control, damage reporting, and guest issue resolution.
Core ResponsibilitiesHousekeeping & Quality Control
- Supervise cleaning staff across multiple apartments.
- Conduct pre-check-in and post-check-out inspections.
- Ensure hotel-level cleanliness and readiness standards.
- Train staff and enforce cleaning SOPs.
Apartment Readiness
- Verify cleanliness, amenities, appliances, utilities, and furniture condition before guest check-in.
- Ensure apartments are fully functional and guest-ready.
Inspection & Damage Reporting
- Record check-in and check-out walkthrough videos.
- Document and report damages, missing items, or issues promptly.
- Share inspection reports within defined timelines.
Maintenance Coordination
- Identify maintenance needs and supervise vendors.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective repairs.
- Manage small purchases and maintain records.
Inventory Management
- Monitor linen, supplies, amenities, and kitchen stock.
- Prevent shortages, misuse, or wastage.
Guest Support
- Resolve on-ground guest concerns related to cleanliness or maintenance.
- Coordinate with CSRs for quick resolution.
Staff Supervision
- Ensure punctuality, discipline, and performance of housekeeping staff.
- Monitor quality standards and correct errors.
Reporting & Coordination
- Provide regular updates to operations and management.
- Maintain accountability for apartment condition and readiness.
