JOB TITLE: Operations Support Analyst (Basic) Lessons Learned

CLEARANCE: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance
LOCATION: Colorado Springs, Colorado


SUMMARY: SABG is hiring an Operations Support Analyst Basic (DW) to support the WOI contract with the Missile Defense Agency.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. This position will be responsible for coordinating taskers, consolidating responses, and tracking and reporting status. This position will consolidate packages for senior leadership review and approval. They will coordinate meetings between the customer and stakeholders internal and external to the agency. They will capture meeting minutes and help track action items. This position will also support reviewing documents and products for accuracy, maintaining organization information management systems and supporting records management.


SUPERVISION: This position has no supervisory responsibilities


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate’s degree in related field with 2+ years’ relevant experience
  • 2+ years’ supporting operational exercises and wargames in theater
  • Experience in lieu of the above requirements will be considered

COMPUTER SKILLS:
  • Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulations, DoD Directives and US Code. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.


REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on data.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hear. The employee is regularly required to write and type on a computer. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
