Position Summary/ Purpose

The Operations Support Specialist plays a vital role in supporting Arrow Lift Rentals’ daily operations across the parts, service, and dispatch departments. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. From running parts and assisting technicians to mowing the lawn or changing air filters, this person ensures that small but important tasks get done efficiently to keep the company running smoothly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Operations & Facility Support

  • Perform general facility maintenance tasks such as changing air filters, maintaining cleanliness of common areas, and coordinating with vendors for propane refills, and other facility needs.
  • Assist with yard organization, light landscaping, and mowing as needed.
  • Wash, refuel and move machines or vehicles within the yard as directed.
  • Deliver and pick up small equipment components, parts, and materials from local vendors or repair shops.
  • Support loading and unloading of deliveries and assist with inventory organization.

- Parts & Service Support

  • Assist with parts pickups and deliveries to technicians, customers, and other Arrow Lift locations.
  • Help with stocking, counting and organizing inventory, ensuring all parts are properly labeled and stored.
  • Deliver harnesses, propane cylinders, and other customer-requested items to job sites as needed.
  • Run occasional errands for service, parts, or dispatch teams (e.g., pick up repair supplies, return cores, or retrieve parts under warranty).

- Dispatch & Customer Support

  • Respond promptly to quick-turn requests from the dispatch team for items needed at customer sites.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members during deliveries or pickups.
  • Represent Arrow Lift Rentals positively on job sites, maintaining a professional appearance and courteous demeanor.

- Administrative & General Support

  • Maintain accurate logs of all parts, materials, or tools transported.
  • Assist in coordinating equipment maintenance schedules and vendor appointments.
  • Report facility or yard issues (lighting, supplies, etc.) to management promptly.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong work ethic and a proactive, dependable attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities quickly as needs arise.
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
  • Basic mechanical understanding or willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in warehouse support, parts, service, or general maintenance roles within the construction or equipment rental industry.
  • Forklift safety and operation certified.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Frequently lift, carry and move parts and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly bend, squat, reach and climb to access inventory and equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of standing or walking throughout the day.
  • Occasionally work in non-climate-controlled environments with exposure to dust, grease and weather fluctuations.
  • Visual acuity required for reading part numbers, inspecting inventory and completing documentation.
  • Ability to wear required PPE such as gloves, eye protection and safety vests.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
