Operations Support Specialist (Dispatch, Warehouse, Inventory & Field Support)

Job Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, detail‑driven Operations Support Specialist to support daily dispatching, warehouse operations, inventory control, procurement coordination, and occasional field delivery/repair tasks. This role is central to keeping our patient supply chain running smoothly and ensuring accurate, timely service.

Responsibilities

  • Dispatch & Scheduling
  • Coordinate daily delivery routes and assign tasks to drivers

Warehouse Operations

  • Receive, stock, and organize incoming medical supplies
  • Prepare outgoing orders and ensure accuracy before dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment

Inventory & Procurement

  • Track stock levels and identify replenishment needs
  • Assist with vendor ordering, pricing checks, and procurement follow‑up
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in Brightree or internal logs
  • Support inventory audits and documentation for regulatory compliance

Delivery Backup & Field Support

  • Provide backup delivery support during high‑volume periods or staff shortages
  • Load/unload equipment and supplies safely
  • Perform basic equipment checks, troubleshooting, and light repairs (non‑clinical)

General Operations Support

  • Assist with documentation, logs, and internal reporting
  • Support cross‑department workflows to ensure timely patient service
  • Communicate issues proactively to management
  • Monitor route progress and adjust schedules as needed
  • Communicate with patients, caregivers, and staff regarding delivery windows and updates

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in dispatch, warehouse, logistics, or medical supply operations preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable with basic tools and light equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs as needed
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Basic computer proficiency (Brightree experience is a plus but not required)
