As an Operations Support Specialist II at SkyOne Federal Credit Union, you will play a vital role in supporting our frontline staff and enhancing the member experience. You will be responsible for processing electronic payments, including managing requests related to VISA Debit Card programs, ATM cards, and wire transfers, among other duties. Your expertise in account administration will be essential for fulfilling member requests, such as card orders, lost/stolen processing, and handling fraud and dispute claims.
You will also oversee the monitoring and processing of new accounts through our online membership channel and manage special accounts, ensuring compliance and accuracy. Your knowledge of departmental procedures will establish you as a designated Subject Matter Expert, helping to streamline exception processing and various operational functions, ultimately contributing to a seamless experience for our members.
To excel as an Operations Support Specialist II, candidates should possess exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, ensuring the smooth processing of electronic payments and member requests. Proficiency in software tools for account management and transaction processing is essential, as you will be handling online membership applications, establishing trust accounts, and managing complex transactions such as wires and ACH payments. Strong attention to detail is crucial when reviewing and posting check files, as well as handling exceptions and fraud investigations. Excellent communication skills will enable you to provide exemplary service to both members and internal staff, while your ability to comply with regulatory requirements ensures the integrity of our operations. Additionally, being a quick learner and adaptable will support effective cross-training across various departmental responsibilities, enhancing your contribution to our mission of delivering tailored financial solutions.
