Operator -Assembly Line Operator – Armouring & Drum Twister

About the Role:

We’re currently hiring skilled Assembly Line Operators with experience in Armouring and Drum Twister machines for our cable manufacturing facility. If you’re mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and experienced in production environments, this is a great opportunity to grow with a reliable and expanding team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor armouring machines and/or drum twister lines according to production schedules and specifications.
• Load and unload cable drums safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper alignment and tension of wires and armor tape during operation.
• Perform basic machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Inspect materials visually and dimensionally to ensure quality compliance.
• Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or process deviations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete production and inspection logs as required.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience operating armouring or drum twister machines in a cable or wire manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of mechanical equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to read production work orders and follow standard operating procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physically fit — able to lift, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
• Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with power cables, control cables, or similar heavy-duty products.
• Forklift or crane operation certification is a plus.
• Basic understanding of ISO 9001 or other manufacturing quality standards.
