Operator/ Dirt Machine Operator

THIS IS NOT AN HOURLY POSITION. WE PAY DAILY RATES AND THIS JOB IS $136-180/DAY DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE.

Must be a USA citizen, at least 21 years of age and possess a Texas Driver License, with a clean driving record, and be capable of safely driving company trucks with trailer in tow safely carrying large equipment. If you text and drive - do not apply.

Must be able to complete and pass a pre- employment DOT screening, which also includes a drug screening and a Motor Vehicle Report.

Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders
• Dig, grade, and level land according to project specifications
• Load, move, and transport soil, gravel, and other materials
• Perform routine inspections of equipment before and after use
• Conduct basic maintenance and report mechanical issues when necessary
• Follow all site safety guidelines and company procedures
• Work with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment preferred
• Ability to safely operate bulldozers, excavators, loaders, or similar machinery
• Understanding of grading, excavation, and site preparation
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

Landscaping work is a plus.

High exposure to outside weather conditions (wet and/or humid, cold, hot, and more). Sitting, standing, bending, lifting, and moving during working hours. Exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and vibration and high noise levels.

May be required to work overtime, weekends, and holidays for additional pay.
