Operator, Fire Truck

Duties Performed/Major Responsibilities:

• Keep on monitoring the water / foam level particularly at the time of firefighting.
• Firefighting & rescue of employees/injured personnel.
• Follow the instructions of the department in-charge.
• Inspect the fire truck & make sure that it is in a working condition all the times.
• Doing physical exercise & training to maintain good health condition.
• Maintain good housekeeping for the fire station & trucks.
• Follow traffic rules & wear PPE.
• Provide the support to fire/ safety team members during their routine activities in the same location.
• Support the firefighting training team during the training.
• Understand and follow the organizational loss prevention/HSE policies.
• Follow safety instructions related to their jobs.
• Report damaged PPE, unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
• Keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
• Avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
• Report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
• Attend safety trainings planned for them.
• Keep all inspection records of fire truck and related firefighting tools/equipment.
• Having a right to say "NO" to any unsafe work.
