Operator, Storage cum Forklift
- Operate the Fork lift with extra care and safety as per the safe operations procedure of Fork Lift and Reach Truck.
- Inspect the F/L and Reach Truck physically and check the engine oil, hydraulic oil, engine coolant of Forklift and Reach Truck daily before operating it.
- Use all possible safety measures while handling the material.
- Always drive slowly and do not over speed while carrying the load.
- Unloading/Loading of material by manual or forklift.
- Shifting the material from receiving area to main warehouse locations as per guidelines.
- Movement of materials etc. within the stores department as and when required.
- Carrying out daily housekeeping in the stores and yards (Storage areas/bins/office).
- All jobs to be carried out in accordance to the ISO requirement.
- To understand and follow the organizational HS&E policies.
- To follow safety instructions related to the job.
- To report damaged PPE unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
- To attend safety training planned by department.
- Having a right to say “NO” to any unsafe work. To report damaged PPE unsafe machines or equipment to concerned staff.
- To keep the provided PPEs in good, workable conditions.
- To avoid any horseplay and abuse of safety devices, equipment and welfare facilities.
- To report any accidents, near misses or hazardous conditions to concerned responsible.
