Position Overview:
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated OPT Recruiter (Entry-Level) to join our growing team. This role will focus on recruiting and placing OPT (Optional Practical Training) candidates in US-based IT roles. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-driven, and excited to help connect skilled IT professionals with top employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, and interview OPT candidates with technical backgrounds (e.g., software development, networking, data analysis, etc.).
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand specific requirements for each job opening and find the right candidates.
- Post job openings on various platforms and engage with candidates on job boards, LinkedIn, etc.
- Manage candidate documentation, including resumes, work authorization forms, and other related documents.
- Assist in candidate onboarding and follow up to ensure smooth transitions into their new roles.
- Stay updated on OPT and H-1B visa regulations and trends in the recruitment industry.
- Utilize strong persuasion and negotiation skills to convince candidates to consider job offers and engage with potential opportunities, ensuring a smooth and successful placement process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (any discipline, though HR, Business, or IT-related fields are a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written (ENGLISH) communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive and proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in recruitment, HR, or customer service is a plus but not required.
- Basic understanding of the US immigration process for OPT, H-1B, or similar visas is a bonus.
