Optical Technician/Receptionist

Our office prides itself on creating a warm. welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and valued. We are seeking a dependable, detail oriented Optical Technician to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Optical Technician plays a key role in supporting the doctor and ensuring a smooth patient experience. This position involves both clinical and optical responsibilities, as well as direct patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-test patients (auto-refraction, tonometry, visual field, OCT/retinal imaging)
• Assist the doctor during examinations as needed
• Accurately document patient information in EMR
• Take accurate measurements (PD, seg height, etc)
• Adjust, repair and troubleshoot eyewear
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam lanes
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
