Optometric Scribe

Rosenstein Vision is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Optometric Scribe to join our team full-time. This position works directly with the doctor during patient examinations, assisting with clinical documentation and helping ensure efficient, high-quality patient experience.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous experience in healthcare, medical scribing, optometry, or ophthalmology is REQUIRED.

This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking a long-term position in healthcare, as well as future optometry students looking to gain valuable clinical and patient care experience.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient encounters, examination findings, and treatment plans in real time during the appointment
• Prepare and review patient charts prior to examinations
• Assist with patient flow and support clinic efficiency throughout the day
• Ensure medical records are complete, accurate, and organized
• Support providers with clinical and administrative tasks
• Communicate professionally with patients and team members
• Assist with general office duties as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor and positive attitude
• Reliable attendance, transportation and punctuality

Hours:

• Full-time
• Monday through Thursday 7:45 to 5
• Friday 7:45 to 2
