What You'll Do

• Perform preliminary vision tests (visual acuity, visual field, autorefraction)
• Take patient medical histories and and update electronic health records
• Assist with contact lens fittings and teach proper insertion/ removal techniques
• Conduct diagnostic tests (e.g., tonometry, retinal imaging)
• Help with scheduling, answering phones, checking patients in/ out, and collecting insurance information
• Maintain accurate records and assist with simple billing tasks
• Provide excellent customer service and support patients with questions
• Assist with contact lens retail sales

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as an optometric technician or in a similar healthcare/retail role preferred
• Knowledge of insurance billing and medical coding is a plus
• Must be passionate about providing exceptional patient-care
• Experience with pediatric patients is a bonus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Reliable, flexible, and a team player
• Must be available to work Saturdays

Weekly Schedule:

Wednesday-Friday: 9am-6pm & Saturday 9am-4pm
The position starting rate is $15/hr.
