Summary-Provide comprehensive primary eye care, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, prescribe vision correction, and co-manage complex cases with Ophthalmologists within a hospital setting.
Core Responsibilities* Exams: Perform comprehensive refractions and ocular health assessments.* Disease Management: Diagnose and manage conditions like glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.* Co-Management: Pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients (e.g., cataract, refractive).* Diagnostics: Utilize and interpret advanced imaging (OCT, visual fields, topography).* Records: Maintain accurate and compliant records in the hospital's EHR system.
Required Education Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
Required Licensure-Current, unrestricted state Optometry license. TPA certification required.
Experience[2+] years of clinical experience, preferably in a hospital
ophthalmology setting.
Key Competencies-Strong diagnostic skills, proficiency with advanced equipment, and exceptional collaboration skills for interdisciplinary care.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
