Optometrist

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Conduct thorough eye exams to evaluate vision

· Prescribe corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, tailored to patients' specific needs.

· Diagnose refractive errors and other vision issues such as near sightedness, farsightedness..

· Counsel patients on available treatment options tailored to their needs.

· Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery, such as LASIK or cataract removal.

· Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

· Stay updated on advancements in optometry, including new diagnostic tools, treatments, and eyewear technologies.

QUALIFICATION

· Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school.

· Licensed to practice optometry.

· Strong knowledge of eye care practices, diagnostic techniques, and ocular diseases.

· Proficiency in using optometric equipment and technology.

· Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team.

· Prior experience as Optometrist preferred but not required.

JOB TIMIMGS
Part time: 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM
Full time: 09:00 AM to 08:00 PM ( 2.5hrs lunch break)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
