Optometry Office Team Member- On Site Training

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Team Member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess knowledge in physiology, anatomy, and medical coding. This role requires a blend of customer service, medical, and retail skills.

Duties:
- Greet and assist patients with check-in procedures
- Perform vital sign measurements accurately
- Utilize medical coding knowledge for billing purposes
- Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in the work environment
- Handle retail transactions with proficiency
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality

-Help patients with their selection and purchase of eyewear

Qualifications:
- Understanding of physiology and anatomy
- Experience in patient care or front desk operations
- Knowledge of medical coding practices
- Familiarity with optical products is a plus
- Proficiency in retail math for transactions
- Ability to maintain aseptic techniques in a medical setting
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
