Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) Technical Consultant with extensive expertise in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) development and customization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in OAF, Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, and workflow customization, along with hands-on experience in end-to-end development, upgrade, and support projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions using Oracle Application Framework (OAF) for Oracle E-Business Suite (R12).

Work on Oracle Forms, Reports, PL/SQL, Interfaces, Conversions, and Workflows to support business needs.

Perform OAF page customizations, personalizations, and controller extensions.

Develop and maintain RICE (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) components.

Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing OAF pages and other Oracle custom components.

Participate in system upgrades, patches, and enhancements ensuring smooth transitions.

Perform unit testing, code review, and deployment in accordance with organizational standards.

Provide technical documentation, support user acceptance testing, and ensure timely issue resolution.

Work closely with DBAs, functional consultants, and business stakeholders for system optimization.
Required Skills and Experience:
8+ years of experience in Oracle Applications technical development.

Strong hands-on experience with OAF (Oracle Application Framework) and related technologies (JDeveloper, XML, BC4J).

Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports, and Workflow Builder.

Experience with RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions).

Exposure to EBS modules such as Financials, SCM, HRMS, or Manufacturing.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of AIM / OUM methodology and Oracle Apps architecture.

Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:

Experience in Oracle Cloud migration or R12.2.x upgrades.

Knowledge of BI Publisher / XML Publisher Reports.

Exposure to Web ADI, Oracle Alerts, and Discoverer Reports.

Familiarity with APEX or Fusion technical tools is an added advantage.
Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP / OAF certification) preferred.
