Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer (Remote from Non-India Locations)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer with deep expertise in ODI Studio and hands-on experience with Oracle BI Applications (BI Apps) 10.3 development and customization. The ideal candidate will bring strong data warehousing fundamentals and the ability to design, build, and maintain complex ETL solutions.

Work Hours Requirement

Resources must be available to work at least some hours overlapping with the US Eastern Time Zone (ET) to support collaboration with the onshore team and stakeholders.

Start Date and Expected Duration

This project will begin immediately and is expected to last 6 to 8 months with the possibility for an extension.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
  • Perform BI Apps 10.3 development and customization work, with ODI as the primary integration layer
  • Build and maintain dimensional data models, including star and snowflake schemas, fact and dimension tables
  • Develop and manage ODI interfaces, mappings, packages, procedures, scenarios, filters, variables, and user-defined functions
  • Configure and administer ODI Master and Work repositories
  • Work across all ODI graphic tools — Topology, Security Manager, Designer, and Operator
  • Define and organize ODI Models, Projects, and Metadata
  • Customize and apply ODI Knowledge Modules to meet specific load and transformation requirements
  • Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize ETL processes for performance and reliability
  • Document technical designs, mappings, and operational procedures

Required Qualifications

  • Hands-on development experience with ODI version 12.2.1.4
  • Expert-level knowledge of ODI Studio and all its components — Mappings, Knowledge Modules, Variables, and Components
  • Demonstrated experience with Oracle BI Applications (BI Apps) 10.3 development and customization, specifically as it relates to ODI
  • Expertise in data warehousing concepts, including:
    • Dimensional modeling
    • Star and snowflake schema design
    • Fact and dimension table identification
    • ETL process design and source-to-target mapping
  • Proven experience configuring and working with:
    • ODI Master Repository and Work Repository
    • ODI Projects, Models, Packages, Interfaces, Scenarios, Filters, and Metadata
    • ODI Knowledge Modules (extensive hands-on use and customization)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Oracle databases
  • Ability to work independently in a consulting environment and collaborate effectively with onshore stakeholders during Eastern Time business hours
