About the Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Oracle APEX Developer to join our team and support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of low-code web applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).

This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise-level applications, mentorship from senior developers, and growth opportunities in database-driven development. You will work on forms, reports, dashboards, and integrations in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle APEX applications (pages, regions, items, processes, dynamic actions)
• Develop interactive reports, classic reports, forms, charts, calendars, and dashboards
• Write and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code (procedures, functions, packages, triggers)
• Handle data manipulation, validations, and business logic within APEX
• Integrate APEX applications with REST APIs, web services, or external data sources
• Debug and fix issues in existing applications under senior guidance
• Participate in requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and basic documentation
• Collaborate with senior developers, DBAs, and business stakeholders
• Follow APEX best practices for performance, security, and UI/UX improvements

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months – 2 years of experience in Oracle APEX (internships, freelance, projects, or self-learning)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL (queries, joins, procedures, functions, packages, cursors, exceptions)
• Good understanding of Oracle Database concepts (tables, views, indexes, sequences, constraints)
• Hands-on experience in building APEX applications (pages, items, regions, dynamic actions, processes, validations)
• Familiarity with APEX components:
• Interactive Reports & Grids
• Forms
• Charts
• Master-Detail Applications
• AJAX / REST integrations
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery basics)
• Experience with tools like SQL Developer, APEX Builder, and browser DevTools
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn

Additional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience with Oracle APEX versions 19.x to 23.x
• Portfolio / GitHub / Oracle APEX workspace demos (mandatory)
• Basic knowledge of RESTful services or Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS)
• Understanding of APEX security (authentication schemes, authorization, roles)
• Exposure to Oracle Forms/Reports migration to APEX (plus point)
• Basic knowledge of Git / version control systems

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
