Oracle Database Administrator (DBA)

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, support, and optimize Oracle database environments. The role includes database administration, high availability, disaster recovery, Oracle APEX support, and bulk data migration activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Administer and support Oracle RAC environments.
• Design, implement, and manage Disaster Recovery (DR) using Oracle Data Guard.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage backup and recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Administer and support Oracle APEX environments.
• Configure Oracle APEX / Oracle Database integration with Email Servers (SMTP).
• Perform bulk data migration from CSV files to Oracle databases
• Validate, cleanse, and reconcile migrated data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
• Support database environments on Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server.
• Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Expertise & Skills

• Proven experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Strong hands-on expertise in:
• Oracle Database (11g / 12c / 19c or later)
• Oracle RAC
• Oracle Data Guard (DR)
• Oracle APEX administration
• Bulk data loading and migration from CSV to Oracle
• Practical experience with:
• Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server
• Shell scripting for automation
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle Certifications OCP are a plus.
• Experience with high-volume data migration projects.
• Familiarity with production and mission-critical systems.
