Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant to configure, support, and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 and above) and Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials. This role focuses on finance module implementations, integrations, and ongoing support across complex enterprise environments. The ideal candidate has strong functional expertise in Oracle Financials, hands-on implementation experience, and excellent communication skills in Arabic and English.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant will configure, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CE), including budgeting and reporting. Responsibilities include supporting cross-functional financial cycles such as Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Quote-to-Order (Q2O), and CPQ, with integration to third-party systems and development or modification of Financial Statement Generator (FSG) reports.
The role involves full lifecycle implementation and support across DEV, CRP, UAT, user training, go-live, and post-production, operating in multi-org environments. You will resolve functional issues across the GL cycle, including period open/close, budgets, DFFs and KFFs, calendars, currency management with Multiple Reporting Currencies (MRC), approval hierarchies, and fixed assets configuration.
You will perform gap analysis to determine required system configurations and enhancements, support integration points with other applications, and manage Oracle Support Service Requests (SRs). The role requires hands-on functional troubleshooting, ad-hoc data analysis using SQL, Toad, or SQL*Plus, and detailed root-cause analysis for complex issues.
You will gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions, produce comprehensive documentation including BRDs, configuration documents, functional design documents, test plans, test cases, training materials, and implementation guides using Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM). Collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users is essential to deliver optimized finance solutions.
Additional responsibilities include delivering functional and configuration training to staff, conducting knowledge-sharing sessions, supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, including Financials, Inventory, and Supply Chain modules, managing vendor support tickets, submitting incident and change requests for CAB approval, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field is required, along with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Oracle Financials functional consulting. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS Finance modules and exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials are essential. Applicable certifications are a plus.
Language Requirement
Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (reading and writing) is required.
