An Oracle Fusion CX professional is responsible for implementing, configuring, customizing, and supporting Oracle Cloud Customer Experience solutions to help organizations improve customer engagement, streamline CRM processes, and deliver personalized experiences across sales, service, marketing, and commerce.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements & Solution Design
Lead discovery workshops and capture business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate functional needs into Oracle CX solution designs and detailed configuration plans.
Map business processes and identify opportunities to optimize customer journeys using CX Cloud modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, CPQ).
Implementation & Configuration
Configure and customize Oracle Fusion Cloud CX modules (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce/CPQ, CDM).
Use tools/features such as Redwood UI, scripting (Groovy, JavaScript), APIs (REST/SOAP), Visual Builder, and DCS where applicable.
Support data quality and deduplication, especially in Customer Data Management (CDM).
Testing & Deployment
Perform and coordinate system testing, regression testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Support go-live planning, cut-over, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
Integration & Support
Troubleshoot inbound/outbound integrations, APIs, and file flows; coordinate with integration partners when needed.
Resolve issues, provide corrective actions, and handle ongoing application support / service requests.
Reporting & Optimization
Monitor solution performance and campaign metrics (in Marketing Cloud roles).
Recommend process improvements and enhancements based on data insights and business feedback.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
Maintain project documentation, configuration guides, FAQs, SOPs, and other assets to support users and future changes.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate with clients and cross-functional IT/technical teams.
Provide training and guidance to end users and junior team members as needed.
Core Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Typically 5 + years experience with Oracle CX applications or related CRM implementation experience.
Technical & Functional Skills
Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud CX modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, Commerce/CPQ, CDM).
Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, scripting (JavaScript, Groovy), UI tools (Redwood, Visual Builder).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
